I created an interactive map to better understand how Redis works

Each component links to the source code, and you can open the console to enter your own commands and watch the execution flow

Looks beautiful thank you! Looking at it though I keep thinking - would understand it better if it was factorio :-D

it is very beautifull idea and implementation. Open source available? It is good material for teaching how redis works.

Is it live on some redis?

There's a console and you can track your command! Very cool. Not sure if 3D is needed but very cool nonetheless, It might be that some things are missing (I don't know redis internals though) like some encoding step when getting data back to client, managing client connections and their state (multi, watch) etc.

3D model is almost like 2D diagram, only needlessly confusing and slop.
